We are a growing networking and professional development organization of entrepreneurs, professionals, investors and community leaders.
The idea is simple: help you meet more people, have better conversations, and leave the room with connections you can actually follow up with. Instead of leaving it up to chance, we designed the Speed Networking Mixer around three clear improvements on the traditional mixer.
- 01
📖 Get recommendations on who to meet or follow up with first
Your Black Book profile helps us point you to the people worth meeting first — before, during and after the event.
- 02
🤝 Meet more people — and have more fun doing it
Twelve quick rounds of speed networking with a DJ keep the energy up, so you meet more people in one night than at any traditional mixer.
- 03
💬 Have better, more purposeful conversations
Prompts and icebreakers keep every exchange focused on what you're building and who you need to meet.
What to expect
Speed networking, a DJ, Haitian cuisine, a photo booth and a podcast station — all in one night.
📖 Start With Your Black Book Profile
Come camera-ready. Stop by our photo booth for your individual Black Book profile photo, then jump back in with friends and new connections to capture the night.
⚡ Speed Networking with DJ OfficialXNYC
Instead of spending the entire night talking to the same few people, we’ll keep the room moving through structured rounds of speed networking and challenges. Meet more people. Make the right connections. And yes — there will be prizes.
💬 Better Conversations
We’ll provide prompts, icebreakers, and conversation starters designed to get you beyond the usual “So… what do you do?”
🤝 You've Got a Match
Tell us what you do and who you’re looking to meet. We’ll use that information to help identify potential leads, referrals, resources, and recommended connections before, during, and after the event.
🍽️ Music, Food & Drinks
Enjoy your favorite hits from DJ OfficialXNYC along with Haitian cuisine and signature drinks from the team at Out Of Ordinary.
🎥 Professional Photo & Video Coverage
Come ready to be seen. Professional photo and video coverage will capture the people, businesses, and energy in the room.
🎙️ MuvaCam Podcast Station
Step up to the mic, introduce yourself, and share your story.
