Handy Luigi has built his career around one conviction: entrepreneurs should not have to build alone. He is the founder of Luigi & Associates LLC, a strategy, accounting and financial management firm that gives small business owners the financial structure, clarity and control to make better decisions and build stronger companies.
The firm's primary service is fractional CFO advisory. Handy works alongside owners throughout the year—not only at tax time—bringing bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial statements, tax planning, forecasting and recurring strategic reviews into one operating rhythm. Together, they answer the questions that shape a business: Are we profitable? Where is the cash going? What can we afford? Are we ready to hire, borrow, invest or grow?
That commitment extends beyond the numbers. Through The Business Meetup, Handy has created rooms where entrepreneurs, professionals, investors and community leaders can become visible, build trusted relationships and learn from experienced practitioners. Since 2013, the platform has grown into a regional record of 235 networking and professional development events across Connecticut and New York, supported by a 1,419-member Meetup community and a 4.9 average rating across 199 public ratings.
Before founding Luigi & Associates, Handy spent 12 years in financial services, where his recognitions included Rookie of the Year, New Org Agent of the Year twice and NAIFA Connecticut's 4 Under 40. His perspective is also grounded in more than 20 years of hands-on home-improvement experience—selling work, managing subcontractors, collecting receivables and learning what profitable pricing looks like from the owner's side of the table.
Handy holds a Master's degree in Accounting & Financial Management with a CFA track and a Bachelor's degree in International Business. As Co-Chair of the Economic Empowerment Committee for the 100 Black Men of Stamford and a John Maxwell Team certified speaker, trainer and coach, he brings financial education, leadership development and practical business guidance into the communities he serves.
